Front Desk/Administrative Assistant

Arundel Group Holdings LLC has an immediate opening for a full-time Front Desk Administrative Assistant. This position will work with a variety of clients, business partners, and staff on a regular basis in a relaxed, yet professional atmosphere.

Arundel Group Holdings LLC is based in Farmer Branch, Texas. We are a full-service construction company that has 3 divisions that deal in all areas of the construction phase. Arundel Design & Build Contractors LLC, DarkHorse Sitework & Concert and Ellis & Levine Engineering LLC.

The front desk/administrative assistant for Arundel Group Holding LLC will be the first point of contact for employees and vendors. Additionally, this role will require the incumbent to receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately. As the admin assistant, you will be answering, screening and forwarding all incoming phone calls. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering multiple phone lines, greeting all visitors, multi-tasking, preparing for all office meetings. Attends staff meetings as required and note taking as necessary. But most importantly be the first go-to for anything the owner or CFO may need completing.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Greets visitors and guests – direct them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Performs scheduling tasks including calendar coordination; purchase airfare and lodging; reserve conference rooms, teleconference services; select catering.
  • Prepares correspondence, presentations, email communications, and excel spreadsheets.
  • Responds to telephone and electronic communications.
  • Attends staff meetings as required. May take notes as necessary.
  • Minimum of one years’ experience working as an administrative assistant.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional phone etiquette.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners and staff at all levels.
  • Responds promptly to shifts in direction, priorities, and schedules.
  • Uses sound judgment and problem resolution skills, often makes decisions in the supervisor’s absence.
  • Ability to conform to an ever-changing office and its needs.
